Houston Airport Inter Terminal Train
Houston intercontinental Airport Inter-Terminal Train
This small automated transportation system travels below the airport terminals in Houston, moving passengers between 8 stations. It was built in 1981 by a division of the Disney company, based on the technology they developed for their Peoplemover ride at Walt Disney World in Florida. Powered by linear induction motors mounted in the track, the trains are completely passive and arrive every minute or so at each station.
