The 29th Annual Wings Over Houston Airshow takes flight Saturday, October 26 and Sunday, October 27 at Ellington Airport with thrilling aerial performances, aerobatics and demonstrations.
This year’s Wings Over Houston Airshow welcomes several vintage military demos including the U.S. Air Force’s Heritage Flight, Korean War 60th Anniversary, B-29 Superfortress FIFI, B-24 Liberator Diamond Lil, D.A.V. “Doolittle Raider,” T-33 Shooting Star and Mig 17F Fighter Jets Inc.
A returning favorite to the 2013 Wings Over Houston Airshow includes the always-popular Tora!Tora!Tora! reenactment of the World War II air power attack on Pearl Harbor
Other highlights include the “Legends & Heroes Autograph Tent”, interactive NASA display, Dusty, the star of “Disney Planes,” a children’s area including a rock wall, a mechanical bull and exhilarating Aircraft M-4 simulator rides.

Tickets for the 2012 Wings Over Houston Airshow are on sale now. Advance tickets purchased prior to August 1st are .50. Advance tickets purchased after August 1 are for adults, for children ages 6 through 11 and free for children 5 and under. Reserved “Prime-View” seats located at the “50-yard-line” are and include reserved parking and an event program. Eagle Squadron Hospitality tickets are 5 and include reserved seating, catered food and beverages throughout the day, reserved parking, a souvenir cap, program and poster. Parking at Ellington Airport is extremely limited so the complimentary bus transportation is recommended. Bus shuttles run from Bay Area Park and Ride (801 Bay Area Blvd), Fuqua Park and Ride (11755 Sabo Road) and South Point Park and Ride (12410 Kurland). Shuttles run from 7:30 a.m. until 6 p.m., with the last shuttle inbound to Ellington Airport departing at 2:30 p.m. The shuttle service is free with proof of ticket purchase.
